School Sponsorship

The child sponsorship program is what keeps our school alive. Sponsoring a child costs $35 a month; providing our students with the opportunity to receive an education, a daily hot meal, uniform, textbooks & supplies.

The sponsorship program also allows us to pay the teachers and staff a fair salary. The school currently employs 80+ people, including a kitchen staff and grounds keepers. We are proudly the largest employer in Simonette. Touch of Hope also provides the funds for the buildings and upkeep of the school. We are always seeking long-term partners and sponsors for projects at the school.

As part of the sponsorship program, we work very hard at keeping you updated about the school and your child. We send out updated photos of your sponsored child each year. Every year at Christmas we also give you, the sponsor, an option to send $20 extra for your child to receive a Christmas present. We buy everything locally and they typically include a new back pack stuffed full with goodies: pencils, notebooks, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, toys, candy, etc. If you ever make it to Haiti and visit us, we will also make sure you have the opportunity to meet your child and visit his or her home.
